Thankfully my friends have come up trumps and provided me with loads of ideas. Nothing very Aussie but I've thrown some Australian flavours into the mix with a few international treats as well. In the meantime I'll need to load up the kitchen with kilos of sugar, chocolate, fruit and nuts and litres of cream and golden syrup and start cooking.

P.S. For a touch of Christmas, I'm sure the date bars would work really well with a layer of fruit mince.

JJillian Leiboffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09021716947712252732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34032825.post-26305013156922552842013-11-18T09:47:14.108+11:002013-11-18T09:47:14.108+11:00I must admit I can't think of an Australian ca...I must admit I can't think of an Australian candy either! These date bars look delicious and I do love a recipe that can easily be changed up with fillings. gfshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08105307086676404324noreply@blogger.com
